Sundeep is best known as the co-Inventor of ZETIA® and VYTORIN®, two well-known anti-cholesterol blockbuster drugs. Prior to his stellar career in industry, Sundeep was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University under Prof. J. McMurry, and earned a Postdoctoral Fellowship at ETH-Zurich, in Switzerland under Prof. A. Eschenmoser. Sundeep earned his PhD from the University of California at Davis in 1984, with his Dissertation entitled "Synthetic Approaches to the 6H-Pyrido-[4,3-b]carbazole Alkaloids" under the mentorship
